Taschen Verlag just released a box with books by the influential photographer Wolfgang Tillmans. “3 Vol. Box” includes Tillmans, Tillmans Burg, and Truth Study Centre. Probably best known for the immediacy in his portraits, his matchless way of capturing the sweat, dust and rawness of subcultures or his still-lives, showing the things unfiltered in its commonness. Tillmans pictures have been shown in NY’s MoMA, Tate Britain or in Hamburger Bahnhof Berlin. His large scale images are also gracing the walls of the Panorama Bar.
