Richard Gilligan: DIY

Richard Gilligan is a really nice man from Dublin who I met through Sergej Vutuc at the screening of Format Perspective last year, a film by Phil Evans showcasing the unique work, lives and opinions of six European skate photographers. He told me about his project then, a book entitled “DIY” which explores the underground phenomenon of DIY skate spots and the people building and inhabiting these hidden spaces. This book has just been released by 180 Editions and Carhartt. An amazing book this is!
